Ann Silgen
Director
Ann began her duties as Director of Interfaith Volunteers (then known as Lakes Area Interfaith Caregivers) in January of 2014. She has a BA in Business Management and worked with the Central Lakes College Foundation for ten years. She was responsible for public relations, fundraising, grant writing, and scholarship awarding. Ann also has written grants for her local community. Ann is responsible for compiling government reports/statistics, monitoring client surveys, public speaking, mailings, brochures, website maintenance, recruiting and maintaining volunteers, attending Faith in Action workshops and grant writing.
Tim McCarthy
Assistant Director/Project Manager
Tim has been with the organization since its inception in 2001, serving as director until July of 2012. Tim maintains the all-important partnerships he has nurtured with lumberyards that provide discounts and Habitat for Humanity who provides free grab bars. He continues to design ramps, recruit volunteers, and supervises builds and secures necessary equipment. He will also be involved in public speaking and new volunteer recruitment.
