Interfaith Volunteers was founded in 2001 by local clergy, social workers, medical practitioners, law enforcement agencies and many caring residents in Crow Wing County who shared a common concern: 

        The needs of low-income seniors 
in our community were unmet, 
placing them at risk.

 We’re a 501(c)(3) organization, with a mission of helping low-income seniors and persons with disabilities live comfortable, safe, independent lives in their own home. Although we make no distinction on who we serve, our organization’s two missions are in line with supporting the Christian tenant of doing good to others.

Our volunteers help Crow Wing County senior citizens continue to live in their homes by building wheelchair ramps, installing minor home modifications and providing rides for medical appointments and errands as well as making personal companionship visits. Our funding comes from grants and corporate and personal donations—all our services are provided at no cost to the folks we serve. 

How can we help you?

Executive Director
Ann has worked with Interfaith Volunteers since 2014. Ann has a background in fundraising and public relations. Her responsibilities include fundraising, grant writing, volunteer recruitment, and overseeing the daily operations of the organization.

Construction Manager
Mark joined Interfaith Volunteers in October 2022. Mark evaluates our construction projects including ramps and other home modifications. He meets with the client, develops a construction plan, orders the materials, coordinates volunteers, and ensures that the project is completed in a professional and timely manner.

Volunteer Coordinator
Meredith joined Interfaith Volunteers in October 2020. Meredith has a background in home health care. Her responsibilities include receiving the intake information from a prospective client, and finding a compatible volunteer based on the client’s needs. She also follows up with both the volunteer and the client after services were provided to ensure a satisfactory experience.

Volunteer Coordinator
Brittney joined our team in 2022, and she says, “ It brings me joy to serve our community and help those in need. The people we serve experience independence by helping them with rides, while still living at home. I am grateful to work with Interfaith Volunteers and the compassionate people who help provide these essential services.”
